caters for retired people living on Hayling Island, who would like to share their knowledge,
skills, and experience, and gain new ones. We hold monthly meetings and have a

Latest News

Following the Annual General Meeting, on 18 September 2008, a new fee structure has been adopted. Membership fees have been increased to £15 per annum, but this will include free entry to the monthly meetings.

Monthly Meeting Arrangements

All future meetings will be held on the Third Thursday of the month, at Hayling Island Community Centre, West Town, starting at 2.00 pm.
Admission : Members free; £2 for visitors.
Please note : NO MEETING in December.

The normal plan for the meeting is:

1.15pm : Committee and helpers arrive to prepare for the meeting;

1.30pm : Doors are open to members and visitors

2.00pm : Welcome from Chairman and introductory business

2.15pm : Speaker starts

3.00-3.15pm (approximately) : Tea and biscuits served

Refreshments Organiser: Vera Smith (9246-8990)

We do operate a rota of helpers to assist with serving tea and washing-up afterwards. Members are asked to volunteer on a monthly basis by signing a list sent round at the AGM
